This Simone Cardigan from We Are Knitters is one I made this year. She is so amazingly talented! I love everything about her site! If you are determined to make your knit with your own two hands though, Loopy Mango has a kit for a beautiful turtleneck that is almost identical! The bite of the winter breeze will have nothing on me in this bulky beauty! Unfortunately ,there is no pattern for this exact sweater, but it can be custom ordered from Annette. Another thing that is almost effortless? This pattern! With no complicated stitches, this one would be super simple to quickly knit. In the dark of winter, this Peachy Keen Sweater by Sasha from Eat Me Blog would offer a little bit of light! I love how the slouchy off the shoulder neckline looks so effortlessly chic. Plus, if you haven’t noticed, I am a sucker for anything cream!

I knit this Martina Cardigan from We are Knitters last year, and to this day am in still in love! I indulged myself with this kit ( I admit, I rarely knit for myself), but am so glad I did! The simple garter stitch has beautiful texture and there is just the right amount of flare at the bottom to contrast with the stood-up collar.

How beautiful would it be a in rosy blush? It can be done! I love the deep charcoal gray shown, but the kit comes in multiple colors, too. It’s another winner from Wool and the Gang! The Sonic Sweater is made with their Crazy Sexy Wool and is thick enough to keep in the heat without feeling too heavy. Maybe not the best option for the cold bleachers though! I mentioned that I love the look of oversized knit sweaters with faded denim, but the sweater and maxi dress combo has caught my eye. Slip on this chunky oversized cardigan by Annette for instant style and warmth. Made from Ohhio’s handspun Contour Yarn, this Marshmallow sweater from Ohhio proves that sometimes bigger is better! It comes with a warning though… You may become a “hug magnet!” I have to admit, it would be hard to resist! Just look how soft and cozy it looks! Knit from Wool and the Gang’s %100 Crazy Sexy Wool, the Wonderwool Sweater would definitely keep me warm all winter long! Also, in case you want another option for the neckline, the free pattern comes in both a crew and funnel neck. I love how the inverted “V” brings your eyes up to the model’s beautiful face. Even better, it can be quickly knit in the round for a perfect last-minute gift. With this sweater, I already have my poms for the football game! Okay, not the same kind of “pom-poms”, but you have to admit that this wool sweater from Bettaknit would not only keep my warm and cozy, but the “bubbles” add a dash of festive flair!Īfter this photo flew around the Pinterest world, Karen from Fringe Association tells us just how to recreate this lovely raglan pullover.
